Third single off The Good Ship's second album O' Exquisite Corpse (2012).

“Sin City Sweetheart” is a sultry, sexy, slapper of a song, telling the semi-tall tale of singer Brett Harris’ Las Vegas adventures. Upon crashing the honeymoon of (Captain) Daz and his fair wife in the city of lights and lust, (First Mate) Harris returned to his cabin in the Colorado wilderness, absorbed by fairy tales of forbidden fruits and punctual prostitution. It was from these images that he penned this little number on the passions of a man in love within a town of unfathomable pleasures. A man so desperate for love that he falls for an ageing, broken, one-armed, one-eyed woman—who steals his heart as quickly as she does his wallet.

Sin City Sweetheart
You're someone's mother
Or someone's sister
Or someone's wife
And you are longing
To be belonging
You're very special
Just for tonight

Your pretty picture
Like Eve to Adam
Was given to me
I took the lot
In twenty minutes
You'll be right over
So drop my dollar
Into your slot

Lala Las Vagrant
Love for sale
You aging hack
Give my heart back

And so I'm waiting
For you to get here
I got your picture
To keep me warm
And when you get here
You're going fifty
Or maybe sixty
Or maybe more

You're blind in one eye
I can see past that
You've got all those things
That I adore
Your gear is sagging
Just like I like it
And you are dragging it
Along the floor

You say you love me (Hey)
And so you love me (Hey)
And then you leave me
And steal my heart
My one armed bandit
You robbed me blindly
While I was sleeping
It's quite an art
